ASU Basketball: Guards shine in Sun Devil season opener

This offense is going to be fun to watch

The Arizona State men's basketball team opened up its 2016 2017 season with an 88-70 win over Portland State.

It was a great team effort, however from the start of the season Bobby Hurley said that his perimeter players were going to be huge for this team and they were. Senior guard Torian Graham, and junior guards Shannon Evans and Tra Holder that combined for 65 of the 88 points.

Their defense was a little shaky however the offense certainly made up for it. Having made their competitive debuts in a Sun Devil jersey tonight, Evans II and especially Graham showed how explosive this offense can be this year.
