The Arizona State Men's Basketball team held an exhibition match against the UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs in Tempe. It ended in ASU's favor, (as expected) as the Sun Devils routed the Banana Slugs 98-53.
Although it was just an exhibition match, both new and returning talent got significant minutes in ASU's domination of UC Santa Cruz. Most notably, Sun Devil fans got to see the sneak preview of what junior guard Shannon Evans and senior guard Torian Graham could do in a Sun Devil jersey. Both players transferred from the University of Buffalo and both sat out last year. Evans' was due to redshirting and Graham because of transferring. We didn't get the full playbook because it was an exhibition match but regardless, above are ASU's highlights from the game.
