Just about everything is set as we enter the final stretch of the regular season in the Pac-12. We at least know which teams are clearly the contenders in their division, and which teams are flailing.
You can see below how Connor Pelton and I see the conference setting up ahead of the week.
Pac-12 North
Rank | Pelton | Jones |
1. | Washington | Washington |
2. | Washington State | Washington State |
3. | Stanford | Stanford |
4. | California | California |
5. | Oregon | Oregon |
6. | Oregon State | Oregon State |
Closer Look
Washington continues to dominate the conference, and it appears they're on their way to running the table until a date with rival Washington State, who appears to be hitting its stride at the right time.
Pac-12 South
Rank | Pelton | Jones |
1. | USC | USC |
2. | Colorado | Utah |
3. | Utah | Colorado |
4. | Arizona State | Arizona State |
5. | UCLA | UCLA |
6. | Arizona | Arizona |
Closer Look
The Trojans secure the top spot once again after the Utes fall against Washington. Colorado joins Utah to form the rest of the South's upper half, as it appears there will be some type of scrum for the lead.
Arizona and UCLA may be on their way to searching for new coaches by the time 2017 rolls around...
