The 2016-17 college basketball season is over four weeks old and we have now enough evidence to publish our first set of Pac-12 power rankings.
We take a look below at how each team currently stands according to House of Sparky's Connor Pelton and Kaelen Jones.
Rank | Pelton's Picks | Jones' Picks |
1. | UCLA | UCLA |
2. | USC | Oregon |
3. | Arizona | Colorado |
4. | Oregon | USC |
5. | California | Arizona |
6. | Utah | Utah |
7. | Colorado | Stanford |
8. | Stanford | Washington |
9. | Arizona State | Arizona State |
10. | Washington | California |
11. | Washington State | Washington State |
12. | Oregon State | Oregon State |
The Skinny:
UCLA is our consensus top pick in the first edition of our power rankings. The Bruins are off to a 10-0 start, including wins over Texas A&M, Kentucky, and Michigan in three of their last four games to secure a spot atop the Pac-12.
After that, things are, predictably, a mess.
Utah and Arizona State are consensus selections at sixth and ninth, while Washington State and Oregon State round out the bottom two spots of the rankings.
