BOOM! season has made its way over to the basketball court this winter in Tempe.

The Arizona State Sun Devils have garnered the commitment of Trinity Christian School (Las Vegas, Nev.) big man Kenny Wooten, he announced via Twitter on Tuesday.

Wooten, a 6-foot-8, 205-pound power forward, is rated as a four-star prospect by both Scout and ESPN, and is a three-star prospect according to Rivals.

He had originally signed to play with Nevada, however decommitted and subsequently reclassified from 2016 to 2017, and spent last season at Trinity following a career at Manteca High School (Calif.).

Wooten had generated interest from Arizona, California, Kansas, and Oregon, among other programs prior to deciding on the Sun Devils.

Wooten will be the third member of Bobby Hurley’s 2017 signing class, rounding out a group which includes wing Kimani Lawrence and point guard Remy Martin.

He’ll join ASU’s young frontcourt which currently features freshmen Jethro Tshisumpa and Ramon Vila, and redshirt freshman Andre Adams.
