Our No. 3 Moment of the ASU Football Season: N’Keal Harry pulls rabbit out of a hat, turns broken play into 31-yard touchdown to retake the lead against Utah.
He’s everyone’s new favorite wide receiver.
N’Keal Harry’s first season as a Sun Devil saw him elevate his way to the top of the receiving depth chart as he anchored the passing game through the conference season, compiling 58 receptions for 649 yards and five touchdowns.
However, it was one of his two rushing scores on the season that makes our list at No. 3.
Playing Utah after a demoralizing loss in Eugene to a sliding Ducks team, the Sun Devils threw all caution to the wind in trying to avoid a fourth consecutive defeat in conference play. Offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey already had Harry attempt a pass earlier in the night, and gave the receiver another chance to show off his arm in the second quarter.
After fumbling the ball, Harry rightfully abandoned the play and just straight went to making people miss. His score vaulted ASU ahead, although the Sun Devils would eventually fall to the visiting Utes.
