It's quite an eventful morning for the Arizona State Sun Devils' coaching staff.
Hours after news broke running backs Kodi Burns was leaving for the Auburn Tigers, ASU filled its coaching void at defensive line by hiring UNLV's Joe Seumalo Monday, according to Sports Illustrated's Thayer Evans.
UNLV DL coach Joe Seumalo will have same position under Arizona St. coach Todd Graham per sources.

Seumalo replaces Jackie Shipp, who left to coach the Missouri Tigers in the same position on Feb. 2.
Seumalo comes to ASU after having spent just one season with the UNLV Rebels. Seumalo spent eight seasons with the Oregon State Beavers under head coach Mike Riley until Riley left in 2014 to coach the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Seumalo, who played collegiately for the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, also had previous coaching stops at San Jose State, Cal Poly and Hawaii. His son, Isaac, is a 2016 NFL Draft prospect after playing at Oregon State.
