Arizona State Sun Devils associate athletics director of recruiting Patrick Suddes is leaving the program for the Auburn Tigers as director of player personnel, according to multiple reports.

Suddes' departure is just the latest of ASU's unusual coaching staff and personnel exodus that started with offensive coordinator Mike Norvell leaving for the Memphis Tigers' head coaching position in early December. The Sun Devils lost Kodi Burns, who ASU had just hired in January as a running backs coach, to Auburn Monday.

Suddes may be one of ASU's biggest losses this offseason, as he oversaw the Sun Devils' rising recruiting efforts and was popular among players. ASU had already lost two of its most important recruiters in Norvell and recruiting coordinator Chip Long.

ASU hired Suddes prior to the 2014 season from the Texas Longhorns, where he served as director of player personnel. Suddes worked under Nick Saban with the Alabama Crimson Tide for six seasons.
