ASU Football: Defensive line coach Jackie Shipp leaves ASU for Missouri - With just two days until National Signing Day, the Arizona State coaching staff received another shakeup with defensive line coach Jackie Shipp bolting for Missouri.
While with the Sun Devils, Shipp was responsible for the development of Will Sutton, Marcus Hardison, and many others.
Shipp wasn't the only Arizona State-Missouri connection on Monday. Former Alabama wide receiver Chris Black, who was considering the Tigers and Maryland in addition to the maroon and gold, announced that he would be staying in the SEC and taking his talents to Columbia next season. Black played in just 11 games across three seasons for the Crimson Tide.

Yesterday couldn't have started better for Charli Turner Thorne's team, which found themselves ranked at No. 7 in the first edition of the women's selection committee rankings. They were unable to parlay that excitement into a win later in the day, however, as the 8th-ranked Beavers ran Arizona State out of Gill Coliseum.
The loss broke a 15 game winning streak for the Sun Devils.
While class of 2016 prospects might be signing their letters of intent on Wednesday, the Arizona State coaching staff is still hard at work on firming up commitments from younger players. They also appear to be getting a little creative in their work, as evidenced by this letter to 2017 cornerback Deommodore Lenoir.
