ASU Football: Sun Devils release 2016 spring practice schedule, will not hold spring game

Football is (almost) back.

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona State Sun Devils will open spring practice on March 14, the school announced today. The team will conduct 15 practices (concluding on April 16), but will not hold a spring game for the next two seasons due to the current renovations of Sun Devil Stadium.

Instead of a spring game, a "Breakfast & Football" event will be held for season ticket holders during that April 16 practice.

All practices will be closed, with media having limited access.

Arizona State is coming off a 6-7 season with a loss to West Virginia in the Cactus Bowl. With a new offensive coordinator and an exciting quarterback battle on the horizon, this year's edition of spring football should provide plenty of intrigue for ASU fans.
