Robinson stands at 5-foot-9, weighs between 165-175 pounds and originally hails from Hampton, Va. (currently resides in Hyattsville, Md). He is the No. 3-ranked cornerback out of the Old Line State and is the No. 45 cornerback prospect in the nation, according to Scout.com.
Rivals lists Robinson as a 4-star cornerback, and the 26th-best at the position in the country. Meanwhile, 247Sports.com ranks him as a 3-star recruit, but labels him the No. 21 athlete prospect.
Robinson boasted a 4.2 grade-point average after spending three years at Phoebus High (Hampton, Va.) before transferring to DeMatha Catholic High in Hyattsville for his senior year.
He played on both sides of the ball during his high school career and is heralded as being a high-character person off of the field.
As a first-team all-conference defensive back selection in 2015, Robinson tallied 12 pass breakups, 53 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 2 fumble recoveries (one returned for a touchdown), while also rushing the ball 10 times for 110 yards and 2 scores.
Robinson made a verbal commitment to ASU back on July 25, 2015 (and put his intellect on display for everyone to see in explaining why he did).
It's been a long journey. Proud to be 100% committed to Arizona State University. #ForksUp #BirdGang Here's why pic.twitter.com/qinzgbhJTe

With the Sun Devils losing five defensive backs (as he noted), Robinson has a chance to see the field early in his career.
Below are some highlights from Robinson's senior season.
