Pac-12 Basketball Power Rankings: March 1

This is March.

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

With just one week left in regular season play, House of Sparky's Connor Pelton and Kaelen Jones are back to take an updated view at the Pac-12 power rankings. Their picks are below, followed by a brief breakdown of the conference.

Rank Pelton's Picks Jones' Picks
1. California Oregon
2. Oregon Utah
3. Arizona California
4. USC Arizona
5. Utah Oregon State
6. Oregon State USC
7. Washington Colorado
8. Colorado Washington
9. Stanford UCLA
10. UCLA Stanford
11. Arizona State Arizona State
12. Washington State Washington State

Pelton's Picks

California is my top team at the moment. The Golden Bears have won seven straight and are one back of first place in the Pac-12 standings with two games still to play.

Arizona State stays at No. 11 after an 0-2 trip to the Rocky Mountains. The sweep solidified the team's status as an 11 seed for the Pac-12 Tournament, meaning they will play the fifth place finisher in next Wednesday's first round.

Jones' Picks

Oregon continues to surge up the national polls, and with Arizona’s loss to Utah, both the Utes and California are able to move up amidst winning streaks.

Meanwhile, in the middle of the Pac, things remain foggy, as we enter the final stretch ahead of the tournament with a definitive separation of the top four teams from the others.
