Defensive line coach Joe Seumalo had success recruiting the Territory of American Samoa while up at Oregon State earlier in his career, and he is now trying to replicate those triumphs at Arizona State. Seumalo will be traveling to Pago Pago later this spring in pursuit of four-star prospect Juliano Falaniko, who already has offers from Oregon, Mississippi, and Washington, among others.
Scout ranks Falaniko as the No. 25 outside linebacker for the class of 2017. The spring evaluation period for this class will begin on April 15.
