The Sun Devils unveiled some slick new throwback uniforms on Tuesday that the team will wear next month. Honoring the 4oth anniversary of Rick Monday's famous save of an American flag that was set to be burned by protesters, the Sun Devils are honoring Monday's play with old uniforms and a special patch.

Monday spoke to the team during Tuesday's practice, their last practice before taking off for Pullman to resume Pac-12 play this weekend.

Defensive line coach Joe Seumalo had success recruiting the Territory of American Samoa while up at Oregon State earlier in his career, and he is now trying to replicate those triumphs at Arizona State. Seumalo will be traveling to Pago Pago later this spring in pursuit of four-star prospect Juliano Falaniko, who already has offers from Oregon, Mississippi, and Washington, among others.

Scout ranks Falaniko as the No. 25 outside linebacker for the class of 2017. The spring evaluation period for this class will begin on April 15.
