Looks like the Arizona State Sun Devils will end the 2015-16 athletic season with one national championship this year.

The ASU "Dream Team" eSports team took home the 2016 Heroes of the Dorm championship Sunday by beating the UT Arlington Mavericks 3-0 in a nationally-televised best-of-five series. The title is considered a national championship in collegiate e-sports.

Arizona State won the title playing Heroes of the Storm, a five-on-five Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game ("MOBA for short) in a 64-team bracket consisting of American and Canadian universities. It had also beaten Robert Morris, Laval, Pennsylvania, Eastern Carolina and UConn in the tournament en route to the title.

All six players — Michael Udall ("MichaelUdall"), Stefan Anderson ("akaface"), Parpham Emami ("Pham"), Austin Lonsert (Shot), Isaiah Rubin ("Snickers") and Vann Childs ("Vannity") won $25,000 per year in tuition for three years as a result of winning the tournament, according to the Arizona Republic.

Last year, the Dream Team put itself in prominence by reaching the final round in last year's Heroes of the Dorm competition, but lost to the California Golden Bears 3-2.
