Oh boy. Three different teams received first place votes, with Utah being the only team to receive more than one.
The Utes are currently in first place in the Pac-12 standings but still have an overall record of 13-19. Because of that poor nonconference showing, they will need to win the Pac-12 and get their automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament if they want to play postseason baseball.
Arizona State was ranked in three different places by our voters, coming in as high as seventh and as low as No. 11. The Sun Devils are 20-13 (6-9 Pac-12) and are coming off a series win against 15th-ranked California last weekend.
