Carrington impressing with Washington

Llpyd Carrington has performed well thus far, and drawing positive reviews from his head coach Jay Gruden and GM Scot McCloughan.

Here's Gruden's full quote:

"I like Lloyd," Gruden said. "Lloyd did some good things, man. He's a physical corner. He did some good things off. He can mix it up. We had him as a free agent already on our team so he just verified the spot to get an opportunity in training camp. So, we're happy to have him."

Bercovici in dream scenario with Chargers

Having apparently grown up a San Diego Chargers fan, Berco says learning behind Philip Rivers is a dream come true.

Having been passed on in the draft, Bercovici is putting a tireless work ethic on display for coaches to see, according to this article posted on the team site.

"I (haven't) been getting a lot of sleep!" he said. "I know (Quarterbacks Coach Shane) Steichen has been laughing because I'm pretty much here at 5am and don't go to sleep until around midnight. Every single day it's been getting better and better just because I'm starting to learn it and when I'm with the veterans, I can start to piece things together as I'm learning along."
