Arizona State basketball head coach Bobby Hurley added to his coaching staff Tuesday, hiring Anthony Coleman, who was a marketing representative for Adidas.
Arizona State’s Bobby Hurley has hired Anthony Coleman, source told ESPN — who was at adidas. Was also at USC with Kevin O’Neill.

Coleman had been at Adidas since mid-2013. Coleman was also at USC under Kevin O'Neill as the Director of Basketball Operations for the 2012-13 season. He replaces former ASU assistant Brian Merritt, who was let go from the program in April.
Coleman will play a critical role in recruiting as his Adidas ties will allow ASU to tap into that portion of the AAU circuit. With UCLA moving to Under Armour, the Sun Devils are now the only Adidas school in the Pac-12.
Previously, Coleman played at Xavier and Long Beach State before spending several years playing professionally overseas.
