Tuesday, ASU men's basketball coach Bobby Hurley hired Adidas marketing rep Anthony Coleman as an assistant coach. Coleman had been at Adidas since 2013, and before that, he was the Director of Basketball Operations at USC during the 2012-2013 season.

This move was well-received among local media, and Coleman will aid in recruiting the Adidas AAU pipeline.

Former ASU football players Jake Plummer and David Fulcher, along with former coach Darryl Rogers made the ballot for the 2017 College Football Hall of Fame.

Plummer led ASU to an undefeated regular season and a Pac-12 Championship during his senior season before spending 10 seasons in the NFL.

Fulcher played three seasons at ASU, amassing 12 interceptions as a Sun Devil before going on to play eight seasons in the NFL.
