Television information and kickoff times are now available for five Arizona State Sun Devils' football games in 2016, including all non-conference games and the Territorial Cup at Arizona.
Arizona State's season opener against Northern Arizona will be a Pac-12 Networks affair, with kickoff coming at 7:45 p.m. (AZ) on September 3. The opener against the Lumberjacks serves as the team's only known Pac-12 Network-televised game at this point. The Sun Devils played four such contests in 2015, including their home opener against Cal Poly.
The maroon and gold's second game of the season will be played at Sun Devil Stadium against Texas Tech, which is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. (AZ) start on Fox Sports 1. The Red Raiders will be the team's only non-conference game against a power conference opponent this season. The two last met in the 2013 Holiday Bowl, when Davis Webb and company ran away from ASU for a 37-23 victory.
Todd Graham's team will play their final non-conference game on September 16 at UTSA. That Friday night contest will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. (AZ) on ESPN2. Arizona State won its lone Friday game last season, topping New Mexico, 34-10, in Tempe.
In addition to the trio of non-conference affairs, information for two league games is now known as well. The Thursday night game against Utah, to be played November 10 at Sun Devil Stadium, will start at 7:30 p.m. (AZ) Fox Sports 1 will have the television rights for that Senior Night contest.
Lastly, the Territorial Cup will return to prime time this fall. After two straight years in daylight, the rivalry game between the Wildcats and Sun Devils will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. (AZ) on ESPN. As previously announced, the contest will be held on the Friday after Thanksgiving in Tucson.
Remaining kickoff times and television info will be announced during the season, either six or 12 games before each game.
