Apparently, not even the extreme heat can stop the Arizona State Sun Devils recent momentum swing in recruiting.
Trelon Smith, a three-star running back from Cypress Ridge High School (TX), has committed to Todd Graham's team just one day removed from his official visit to Tempe. Sun Devil Source was the first to report the commitment on Monday.

The class of 2017 prospect ran all over the place as a junior last season, racking up 1,807 yards on the ground to go with 17 touchdowns. Smith also held offers from Houston, Duke, and Cincinnati, among others.
The commitment marks Arizona State's fourth in as many days, bringing its total for next year's class up to six. A trio of Saguaro High School prospects all committed to the Sun Devils on Friday.
Smith and the Saguaro three join quarterback Ryan Kelley and linebacker Loren Mundy in Graham's current class.
