Tracy Smith lost another member of his recruiting class yesterday as supplemental second-rounder Reggie Lawson decided to sign a professional contract with the San Diego Padres organization.

Lawson joins prospects Gavin Lux, Bo Bichette, and Mikey York as Arizona State's other signees to spurn the Sun Devils and ink contracts with pro clubs. The amateur signing deadline for all players is July 15.

The commitments just keep on coming for Todd Graham and company. Just days removed from getting three verbal commitments simultaneously, the Sun Devils received a verbal from three-star running back Trelon Smith. The addition of Smith brings Graham's 2017 class up to six players at the moment.
