We are proud to announce this series with Oklahoma State," said Vice President of Athletics Ray Anderson in a release. "We have been long committed to playing future football games against some of the nation's finest non-conference opponents every year. We believe our fan base will enjoy this series."
The Sun Devils and Cowboys have met three times with the last meeting coming in 1993. ASU has won the last two matchups.
"I am excited about the series with Oklahoma State University," says Sun Devil Head Football Coach Todd Graham. "Scheduling is very important to the overall success of a program and this is the type of matchup that we are seeking to fulfill our future dates. This series will continue to help build our football program."
Arizona State has also added future games against San Diego State (Sept. 2027 in Tempe), Kent State (Aug. 2019) and Southern Utah (Sept. 2023).
In other scheduling news, FBSchedules.com is reporting ASU's series with LSU has been pushed back from 2022/2023 to 2026/2029.
