Sun Devils end season with loss against TCU: It was a wild weekend for No. 2-seeded Sun Devil baseball as it managed to work its way back into contention for a Super Regional berth, but were halted in the regional title match by No. 1-seeded TCU. The Horned Frogs eliminated Arizona State with an 8-1 defeat.

Two hours before ASU played in what turned out to be its final matchup of the season, it defeated No. 3-seeded Gonzaga in a rematch thanks to an impressive eight-inning performance from Zach Dixon. On Saturday, the group managed to beat No. 4-seeded Oral Roberts in an elimination game on Saturday behind a complete game from Jordan Aboites.

The Sun Devils finished the 2016 campaign with a 36-23 overall record, featuring eight players who earned all-conference honors.

Sun Devil Wrestling's Hall takes runner-up at University Nationals: Freshman Tanner Hall was the 125 kg runner-up on Sunday at the 2016 University Freestyle Nationals.

"The Predator" Don Frye enters UFC Hall of Fame: It was announced at UFC 199 on Saturday that the former Sun Devil wrestler will be inducted into the 2016 UFC Hall of Fame class.

Frye finished his UFC career with a 9-1 record. UFC President Dana White said he "is a legend in this sport and one of the toughest guys to ever compete" during a statement.
