ASU Football: Laiu Moeakiola back at practice, other notes

Rejoice - it’s officially game week. Arizona State took the practice fields in preparation for its bout with Northern Arizona. Media was able to view stretching and individual drills.

Muscle Beach:

Nobody was seen in green, non-contact jerseys today, but a few players were on “Muscle Beach”:

Redshirt sophomore defensive back Tyler Whiley, redshirt junior tight end Grant Martinez, junior long snapper Mitchell Fraboni and freshman offensive lineman Marshal Nathe.

Redshirt senior safety Laiu Moeakiola and redshirt senior linebacker Salamo Fiso were seen at practice today after missing a few practices with injuries. They seemed to be going full speed, but again, the media only saw individual drills and stretching.

Notes:

Media’s viewing period was limited today, so not much more was seen, but head coach Todd Graham seemed to have an extra spark of energy during individual drills today. He got on a few players for dragging through drills.
