VIDEO: After months of waiting, the college football season is here

After weeks of hitting each other, the Sun Devils are finally ready to get the season started and hit somebody else.

The season is officially back, on Saturday.

Arizona State kicks off its 2016 campaign in Sun Devil Stadium at 8 p.m. Saturday night. Although the team hasn't officially announced its starting quarterback just yet, a bevy of other storylines surround head coach Todd Graham and his team.

Four new starters on the offensive line, three new starters in the secondary and a few other wrinkles here and there call for a close look at how the team pans out over the course of its first few games.

Between ASU's one-two punch of junior running backs Demario Richard and Kalen Ballage, the confidence on the offensive side of the ball is still high. That same attitude holds true on defense with standout returners such as junior defensive lineman Tashon Smallwood and linebacker Christian Sam.

But speculation gets tiresome. The players are tired of hitting each other. The media is tired of generating preseason content (but we do it anyway for you guys), and everyone is just ready to lineup on the field.

Rejoice - the season is here.
