Sun Devils in the NFL: Osweiler gets win, Randall earns praise in Week 1

The NFL is back. So is your weekly update on Sun Devils in the league.

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports
Osweiler wins first game as Texans QB vs. Bears

Arizona State product Brock Osweiler threw for 231 yards and one interception in his first game with the Houston Texas to lead them to a 23-14 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

The 6-foot-8 Osweiler signed a $72 million deal with Houston during the offseason.

Ironically, it was against the Bears that Osweiler won against during his first career start for the Denver Broncos last season.

Randall starts season off strong

Pro Football Focus handed the Green Bay Packers defensive back a grade of 86.1 for his performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Bleacher Report's Matt Miller was pretty excited about it.

It's not like he hasn't made it clear before or anything.

Randall finished with six tackles (one for loss) and two passes defended in the Packers' 27-23 win.
