Arizona State began its preparations for its matchup against Texas Tech Tuesday morning. Several players who missed the season opener against Northern Arizona participated in what was open to the media. Media viewed stretching and individual drills.

So he's going to be the injury update guy for the next 8 weeks, probably. pic.twitter.com/ugafuIMRrY
During the game, x-rays were negative, and on Sunday, Sam tweeted this:
GOD FIRST.. Thank You, Could've Been Worse.

Sam walked through stretching before going to “Muscle Beach” while the team went through drills. He appeared to be walking lightly. Graham said Monday he hopes Sam will be available.
Redshirt senior defensive back Laiu Moeakiola participated in individual drills today. He did not play against the Lumberjacks, likely still dealing with a hamstring issue that he saw a specialist for in late August.
Junior long snapper Mitchell Fraboni was not in pads today and seemed to be helping out freshman Riley John with snapping. Graham said after the game that not having Fraboni caused some problems, including a bad snap that led to senior punter Matt Haack attempting to run for a first down.
Notes:
- Scouts from the New York Jets, Chicago Bears and Buffalo Bills were at practice today.
Ami Latu and Salamo Fiso were dressed and at practice today. Graham said after the game Saturday that they missed the game due to “not meeting standards.”
Graham said Latu would be back against Texas Tech but did not say anything about Fiso.
