Pac-12 Basketball Power Rankings: January 23

Conference play is now in full swing, and we’ve got some shuffling at the top.

January is now winding to a close, which means we have just one more month of basketball before the madness kicks into full gear.

Things have already heated up at the top of the Pac-12, where there appear to be three teams with a legitimate shot at going all the way to the Final Four.

Below, Kaelen Jones and I attempt to rank all 12 teams after four full weeks of conference play.

Pac-12 Basketball Power Rankings: January 23

The Skinny

We’re back to a pair of unanimous picks on top of the conference, as Arizona tops both of our rankings following its rivalry win over Arizona State and a road sweep of the Los Angeles schools.

There is some slight disagreement at the second and third spots, but it is clear that both Oregon and UCLA round out the Pac-12’s elite top three. The jumbled nature of the conference has resulted in some differing picks all across the board, with Oregon State’s 12th place standing the only other agreed upon selection.

Following their losses in Tucson and the City of Angels, I dropped the Sun Devils one spot to 10th on my ballot, while Bobby Hurley’s team remains No. 9 on Kaelen’s.
