The Arizona State Sun Devils have earned the commitment of 2017 safety K.J. Jarrell, he announced during a press conference on Wednesday.
Jarrell, who attended Saguaro High School (Ariz.), was considering ASU, California and USC as his final three choices. He ultimately decided to commit to the Sun Devils after visiting Tempe last weekend.
I've visited all of the schools in my top 3. Therefore I will be committing this Wednesday 12 am @ Saguaro!

Jarrell marks the fourth pledge the Sun Devils have received from Saguaro, following the trio of Jared Poplawski, Kyle Soelle, and Corey Stephens, who each committed on the same day last June.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound defender is the ninth in-state commit ASU has landed this circuit, and the 15th signing overall. He’s also the third defensive back prospect Todd Graham & Co. have secured, joining safety Ty Thomas and cornerback Alex Perry.
Jarrell competed alongside Sun Devil commits Eno Benjamin and Brandon Ruiz at the 2017 U.S. Army All-American Bowl earlier this month. He is notably the first addition ASU has made since hiring Phil Bennett as its defensive coordinator.
Below are highlights of Jarrell from his senior season.
