ASU Football: Twitter reacts to Arizona State’s stunning upset of No. 5 Washington

According to many sources, Tempe was #lit.

On Saturday night in Tempe, the Arizona State Sun Devils (3-3, 2-1 Pac-12) pulled off a near-unbelievable upset of the No. 5 Washington Huskies (6-1, 3-1) by a final score of 13-7.

The scene in the stands and on the field following the final whistle was chaotic, and so was the atmosphere on social media as the upset became a reality.

Let’s take a look back at Twitter following ASU’s first victory over a top-5 team in 21 years.

While it was all fun and games for ASU, the Washington side of things was not so positive.
