The Sun Devils open the season with an out-of-conference slate which includes home games with the UTSA Roadrunners and Michigan State Spartans, followed by a trip west to play the San Diego State Aztecs on September 15. The game against the Spartans is the first half of a home-and-home series and the first time these two teams have played since 1986.
The Spartans are currently ranked No. 17 in the College Football Playoff rankings and the Aztecs have spent time in the Ap Top 25.
Immediately, the Sun Devils face possibly their toughest test of the season with a trip up to play the Washington Huskies on September 22, but follow it up by hosting the Oregon State Beavers to end a five-game September.
October begins with a trip to Boulder to face the Colorado Buffaloes before an off week right before the schedule gets really tough.
The lone weeknight game of the season comes against the Stanford Cardinal on Oct. 18, the first Thursday conference game for ASU since Utah in 2016.
To conclude October, the Sun Devils will make the trek to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to face the USC Trojans in an attempt to snap their three-game losing streak to USC.
In November, ASU hosts the Utah Utes and UCLA Bruins before concluding the season with back-to-back road games for the second time in three seasons. ASU travels to frigid Eugene to play the Oregon Ducks on Nov. 17 before the Territorial Cup on November 24.
That game against the Arizona Wildcats will be the first Saturday matchup between the teams in Tucson since 2008.
The Sun Devils do not play the California Golden Bears or Washington State Cougars in their 2018 regular season.
Kickoff times and networks will be announced at later dates.
