ASU Basketball: Sun Devils land commitment from forward Mike Foster

It’s never too early, I guess

It may still be 2017, but the Arizona State Sun Devils are gearing up for 2021.

2021 forward prospect Mike Foster verbally committed to the program Monday following a campus visit, according to Evan Daniels of 247Sports.

The 6-9, 220-pound freshman at Washington High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is averaging 10.7 points and 10.3 rebounds in his first three games of the season.

Foster also garnered interest from Wisconsin, UNLV and San Diego State, amongst others, but referenced how ASU plays as one of his reasons for choosing the Sun Devils.

“The style of play,” Foster told Daniels. “They let their bigs dribble up the court and make plays.”

Foster joins 2020 guard Kyree Walker as the lone unsigned commitments to the program.
