Once committed to UCLA and Louisiana State at various times, three-star Many High School (Louisiana) running back AJ Carter will sign with Arizona State on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., according to The Shreveport Times.
Carter, who is listed a consensus three-star by ESPN, Rivals and Scout, originally committed to UCLA on Apr. 22 before he flipped to LSU on June 26. He then pledged back to the Bruins nine days later, but is expected to sign with Arizona State on Wednesday.
The 6-1, 221-pound RB rushed for 1,821 yards on 25 touchdowns, despite missing four games due to injury in his senior season in 2017. In his junior year, Carter rushed for 2,090 yards on 35 touchdowns.
Aside from UCLA and LSU, Carter held Power-5 offers from Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Texas Tech, Purdue, Vanderbilt and Kansas.
