Allen High School three-star running back Brock Sturges signed with Arizona State Wednesday morning, making this the fifth player to ink with the Sun Devils in the early singing period.

Playing in absurdly Texas-sized 18,000-seat Eagle Stadium, Sturges led Allen HS to back-to-back 14-1 seasons before breaking through to 15-0 in 2017. After a 28-7 win over Cedar Rigde, Allen plays Lake Travis in the state championship on Saturday, Dec. 23.

While his senior year stats aren’t listed, Sturges managed back-to-back 1,000-yard, double-digit rushing touchdown seasons. In his junior year, Sturges ran for 1138 yards, scoring 16 touchdowns.

Sturges was the second player to commit to ASU, as he did so on June 9, 2017.

Here’s his mixtape.
