LaValle is a 6-foot, 215 pound senior, and is rated the No. 45 ILB in the country by ESPN.com and is rated a 3-star by both Rivals and Scout. He chose ASU over Air Force, Army, and Navy.
In his senior season, LaValle recorded 128 total tackles (70 solo), a sack, intercepted two passes and caused two fumbles for the Diablos.
The Mission Viejo High School (CA) product visited Tempe on Dec. 15.
After ASU named Herm Edwards as head coach, here are LaValle’s thoughts on the Edwards era in Tempe.
"He has experience in the League (NFL) and will know how to get guys to the League because he knows what to expect from players at that level,” LaValle told 247sports.com. “I think if he lets the current coordinators coach and he plays more of a CEO role, I think it will work out great so I'm excited."
