Proud to announce that Stanley Lambert will be continuing his education right here in Tempe! #ForksUp #NSD18 pic.twitter.com/Tw3kujS6PZ
Lambert also played both wide receiver and safety during his time in Texas, ranking as the No. 62 athlete in the country and the No. 93 athlete in his home state.
Sun Devil Athletics announced Lambert as an OLB so Devilbacker will likely be his position at the collegiate level. He joins an impressive defensive class with fellow linebackers Christian LaValle and Reggie Hughes.
Lambert chose ASU over reported offers from two other power-five schools in Baylor and Purdue, as well as smaller schools in Army, Nevada, New Mexico, UTSA, Texas State and Tulane, per Rivals.com.
