According to the Arizona Republic, Herm Edwards will make $2 million per year in guaranteed salary to coach the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The contract is for five seasons with an annual raise of $250,000 for the length of the deal.

As a part of an incentive-laden deal, Edwards is eligible for 100 percent of his deal if he is fired without cause. Edwards would also earn $200,000 should he win nine games in a season, as opposed to the $100,000 owed to former coach Todd Graham for the same accomplishment.

The base salary is amongst the lowest in the Pac-12, just ahead of the $1.9 million per season earned by Cal’s Justin Wilcox and Oregon State’s newly-hired Jonathan Smith, according to USA Today’s salary database.
