According to multiple reports, University of Louisiana-Monroe offensive line coach Rob Sale accepted an offer to serve in the same capacity for the Arizona State Sun Devils on Wednesday.

UPDATE: Sale officially named OL coach, Michael Slater introduced as DL coach; Likens, Simon earn promotions

Sale will fill in for Josh Henson, who stepped away from the position less than a week ago to re-join Oklahoma State University’s staff in the same role. Henson had been hired to replace Chris Thomsen, who left ASU to serve as TCU’s offensive line coach in January.

The former Warhawks’ assistant is the fifth addition head coach Todd Graham has made to his staff since the conclusion of the 2016 campaign.

Sale previously worked alongside new Sun Devils offensive coordinator Billy Napier when the two were a part of Nick Saban’s 2011 staff at Alabama.

In addition to his stint in Tuscaloosa (offensive analyst, 2007-11), Sale’s previous stops include Georgia (offensive line coach, 2015), and McNeese State (offensive line coach, co-offensive coordinator, 2012-14).
