Pac-12 Basketball Power Rankings: February 20

And down the stretch they come.

NCAA Basketball: Arizona at Washington Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports

This is it, folks.

We’ve now hit the home stretch of college basketball season, when everyone gets mad and the real fun begins. There are now just two weeks remaining in the regular season, 16 days until the Pac-12 Tournament, and 20 days until Selection Sunday.

Below, Kaelen Jones and I attempt to put the Pac-12 in order before the stretch run begins.

Pac-12 Power Rankings: February 20

Rank Pelton's Picks Jones' Picks
Rank Pelton's Picks Jones' Picks
1 Arizona (+1) UCLA (+1)
2 UCLA (+1) Oregon (-1)
3 Oregon (-2) Arizona
4 Utah USC
5 USC California (+1)
6 Stanford (+1) Utah (-1)
7 California (-1) Washington
8 Colorado (+1) Stanford (+1)
9 Washington State (+1) Colorado (-1)
10 Arizona State (+1) Washington State
11 Washington (-3) Arizona State
12 Oregon State Oregon State

The Skinny

There is some rare disagreement between Kaelen and I this week as the only unanimous pick is Oregon State at the bottom of the conference.

The discourse starts at the top, where both Arizona and UCLA share the one line. Lucky for us, we’ll get a showdown in the Old Pueblo this weekend when the Wildcats and Bruins meet at the McKale Center.

Following its split up in Washington, Arizona State is ranked 10th on my ballot and No. 11 on Kaelen’s.
