The Sun Devils struck gold on not one, but two signings from the Golden State on Saturday.

According to Rivals, Arizona State has earned commitments from Long Beach City College defensive backs DeMonte King and Kobe Williams, who were both visiting Tempe this weekend.

King announced his commitment via Twitter on Saturday.

The signings occurred hours ahead of the team’s spring game, set to begin at 2 p.m. from Sun Devil Stadium.

King, listed at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, will have two years to play two seasons at ASU, while Williams, listed at 5-foot-10, 175 pounds, will have four years to play three.

Williams recorded 21 tackles (18 solo) and one interception through 11 games in one season at LBCC. He attended high school at Long Beach Poly (Calif.). King logged 19 tackles (13 solo) through seven games during his lone season at LBCC after previously attending Los Alamitos High School (Calif.).

The pair marks the seventh and eighth defensive back recruits the Sun Devils have added to their 2017 signing class, joining Darien Cornay, Evan Fields, Langston Frederick, KJ Jarrell, Alex Perry, and Ty Thomas.
