The 2017 NBA Draft is a little over a week away, and former Arizona State Sun Devils Torian Graham and Obinna Oleka are working to make a lasting impression on league scouts.

Graham, a free-scoring shooting guard, works out for the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday. His audition with the Lakers follows up sessions with the New York Knicks and Charlotte Hornets on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Update: Graham visited the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Oleka has participated in one reported pre-draft workout thus far — a meeting on June 7 with the Utah Jazz.

Graham and Oleka both played at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, held April 12-15. The showcase featured a pool of 64 senior college players who competed in a four-day, 12-game event and hosted representatives from every NBA team.

Here’s how each player measured in, according to DraftExpress:

Oleka 6'5 3/4" 6'6 3/4" 223 6'11 1/2" 8'8 1/2" 32.5" N/A
Note: Team rosters listed Graham at 6’5”, 195 pounds and Oleka at 6’8”, 230 pounds.

Torian Graham

In one season at ASU, Graham averaged a team-high 18.6 points per game while shooting 38.7 percent from 3-point range. He collected 26 points or more in six contests, and was a noted fearless shooter whose contested shot-making ability was rivaled by his dunking ability and strong perimeter defense.

Graham endured a long journey to ASU, making the 24-year-old from Durham, N.C., an assuredly battle-tested prospect.

Graham spoke with local media following his workout with the Hornets, saying he was honored “to be able to know that the Hornets are interested in me at all, for them to even bring me in to work me out. … Me being from Durham, North Carolina, to be able to come back home and play for the home team, that would be very exciting, like a dream come true.”

Obinna Oleka

Oleka manned the five position for the Sun Devils during his senior season. He finished averaging 12.5 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.

The high-energy forward recording a double-double in 14 games, a tribute to his effort down low, despite being faced with larger opponents in the post throughout the year.

The 2017 NBA Draft is scheduled to take place on June 22. If either Graham or Oleka were drafted, they would be the first selection out of ASU since the Cleveland Cavaliers picked Carrick Felix in the second round (33rd overall) of the 2013 Draft.
