Arizona State earned a commitment from 2018 Bishop Alemany (Calif.) safety prospect Elyjah “Ely” Doyle, who announced his decision on Saturday.

Doyle is the Sun Devils’ first 2018 high school commit. He’s the second overall 2018 recruit to pledge with the Sun Devils, joining JUCO defensive back Dominique Harrison, who committed to ASU in May.

Doyle is rated a four-star player by Scout and a three-star by Rivals and 247 Sports. He’s considered at least 6-foot and 185 pounds.

Along with ASU, Pac-12 members Arizona, UCLA, Utah and Washington State each offered Doyle.
