The Arizona State Sun Devils were hosting the Utah Utes, down 13-14 with just a few minutes remaining in the second quarter.
Wide receiver N’Keal Harry lined up as the wide-out in a trips left formation.
After the snap, quarterback Manny Wilkins rifled off a quick lateral pass out to Harry, but he bobbled the pass. He got up looking to throw, but when the play broke down he could not find an open target.
Harry tucked the ball and began to run. The ensuing 31-yard touchdown run became one of the more memorable moments for the ASU athletic department this season.
Amidst a season of forgettable moments for the Sun Devils, this was one that they could hang their hats on. It showcased Harry’s natural athleticism and his ability to make a play out of nothing.
Twitter reacted pretty quickly after Harry found the end zone.
Um well okay I guess

N’Keal Harry is a man among boys and turns a broken trick play into a 31 yard rushing TOUCHDOWN! ASU 20 Utah 14
For his next trick, N'Keal Harry will deliver a pancake block at left tackle. What a run for the go-ahead TD. Part of 2 highlights tonight.

Harry came into Arizona State a highly touted prospect from Chandler High School, and in his first season as a Sun Devil he did not disappoint. He led the team in receptions and receiving touchdowns with 58 and five, respectively.
Expect more explosive plays like this next season with Harry at wideout for his sophomore year.
Even though it is undecided who will throw to him, it shouldn’t matter, because if this play is any indication he’s capable of doing it all on his own.
