In the midst of the Pac-12 Football Media Day frenzy in Hollywood, the Sun Devils added some major size to their offense on the recruiting front.
Hutchinson Community College tight end Brett Bell committed to Arizona State Thursday morning via Twitter.

The 6-foot-6, 260-pound tight end originally committed to Kansas State in 2015 and redshirted with the Wildcats before transferring across the state to Hutchinson Community College.
Bell has three years of eligibility remaining, but will spend the 2017-18 season with the Blue Dragons before transferring to Tempe next year. He will be available to play two seasons at Arizona State.
Although ASU has eight tight ends currently on the roster — with junior Jay Jay Wilson redshirt sophomore Tommy Hudson and redshirt freshman Jared Bubak as the only likely players to see live game action this season — Bell retains an extremely valuable asset: his size.
The Wichita, Kansas native reportedly put on forty pounds in the last two seasons, making him both the heaviest and tallest pass-catcher on the roster.
