Through two weeks, freshman wide receiver N’Keal Harry made it clear that he was a force to be reckoned with on the outside for the ASU football team in 2016, but it was one catch in week three that made the nation take notice of the young receiver from nearby Chandler High School.
With the Sun Devils down 14-6 and time winding down in the second quarter at in San Antonio, redshirt sophomore quarterback Manny Wilkins heaved a pass down the left sideline into the end zone toward Harry, whose right hand was being held by a Roadrunner defender.
Harry leapt and caught the ball with his left hand and kept his entire body in bounds for a 27-yard touchdown that made the score 14-12 UTSA at the half.
ASU ended up needing a 17-0 fourth quarter rally to take down the Roadrunners 32-28 and improve to 2-0 on the season.
