11-on-11 Rundown

Both offenses struggled during their turns, managing few, if any, movement down the field. Not only that, but both Wilkins and Barnett were nearly intercepted on their respective drives. Wilkins tried to force a pass to Jalen Harvey, who was being covered by two defensive backs, while Barnett threw deep outside the area of any receiver. Coaches on both sides of the ball seemed unhappy with the overall performance of the team during the drills.

Special Teams

On the bright side, Brandon Ruiz made six of his seven field goal attempts, all from 42 yards out. Snaps and holds from Mitchell Fraboni and Michael Sleep-Dalton were perfect, setting up the freshman. Ruiz and John O’Brien both kicked while position players were going through drills, but in the special teams only section, Ruiz was the only one to receive reps.
