ASU Football: Wednesday practice report

The freshman class continues to impress during the final week of preseason practice

TEMPE - The Arizona State Sun Devils completed their second practice of their final week of the 2017 preseason Wednesday morning at the Kajikawa Practice fields, participating in ball security, tempo, 11-on-11 and special teams drills.

Last practice: Tuesday, Aug. 18

Next practice: Thursday, Aug. 23

Weather: 98 degrees, 27 percent humidity

The media was allowed to view the first team’s drive here, although nothing groundbreaking occurred. Wilkins tossed a couple of screen passes and handed the ball off for a short gain down the middle.
