The Arizona State Sun Devils have dropped 17 spots in three weeks after splitting three consecutive Pac-12 weekends. At 15-4 overall, and 3-4 in Pac-12 play, ASU ranks No. 21 in the latest AP Poll.
Most recently, the Sun Devils slipped five spots after grabbing one of two wins in the Bay Area. ASU fell 86-77 to Stanford before beating California, 81-73.
On the flip side, Arizona has won 13 of its last 14 games, gunning out to a 6-1 start in Pac-12 play. The Wildcats jumped three spots to No. 11 after a 21-point win over Cal and a 73-71 thrilling win at Stanford.
Though a 3-4 Pac-12 start is not ideal, the Sun Devils play seven of their final 11 games at home. With wins over No. 5 Kansas and No. 8 Xavier, ASU has a proven resume, but must make its case with wins.
ASU returns to action on Thursday against Utah at 7:30 p.m. and Colorado on Saturday at 6 p.m. MT at Wells Fargo Arena.
