This is not the first time the Sun Devils have grabbed talent from CCSF, as two-year starting center A.J. McCollum and redshirt junior punter Michael Sleep-Dalton both transferred from there two offseasons ago. Terin Adams, a three-star corner who signed with ASU on Dec. 20, 2017, is also headed from CCSF to Tempe.
In his freshman season, Floyd ran the ball 235 times for 1797 yards and 21 touchdowns. He added 13 receptions for 133 yards and two touchdowns catching the ball, as well.
Floyd is the fourth running back to commit to ASU in the 2018 class with Brock Sturges, Demetrious Flowers and AJ Carter, who all signed on with ASU on Dec. 20, 2017. They join redshirt junior Nick Ralston and sophomores Eno Benjamin and Trelon Smith, who will attempt to recreate the production of the departed Demario Richard and Kalen Ballage.
