On Sunday in Corvallis, the Arizona State Sun Devils (10-5-1, 5-3-1 Pac-12) soccer team dominated against the Oregon State Beavers (7-10-1, 1-9-0). Four different Sun Devils netted goals as ASU shuts out Oregon.
With three goals in the first half, the Sun Devils grab another win in Oregon, beating Oregon State 4-0 on the road.

In the sixth minute, the Sun Devils found the back of the net after senior forward Casey Martinez put the ball past the Beavers goalkeeper, Bridgette Skiba. That would be Martinez’s 5th on the season, giving the Sun Devils a 1-0 lead.
Freshman forward Nicole Douglas and junior midfielder Christina Edwards would both get goals in the 32nd and 37th minutes giving the Sun Devils a 3-0 lead going into the second half. The Sun Devils had nine shots in the first half and a total of 20, keeping the Beavers to just six shots in total.
In the second half, freshman forward Marleen Schimmer would add to the Sun Devils lead, Schimmer’s third goal of the weekend to make this a 4-0 ASU lead in the 72nd minute.
The Sun Devils add another game to their winning streak to increase it to four games. The Sun Devils will head back home for a tough last two games of the season, taking on rivals No. 20 Arizona on Friday, November 2nd at 5:00 PM MST and No. 1 Stanford on Sunday, November 4th at 3:00 PM MST.
